Mifepristone is a cortisol receptor blocker used to treat Cushing's syndrome, and to terminate pregnancies up to 70 days gestation. In many cases, the pregnancy will pass around 4 hours after taking misoprostol. It may occur sooner or take a bit longer for some people.
